Research project

Professor Namil Kim’s project was selected in the first round of the 2026 Individual Basic Research Program in Science and Engineering, Early-Career Research (Type A).

The project is titled “Firms’ Dual Responses to Rapidly Changing Digital Regulations: An Integrated Analysis of Changes in Technology Investment, Governance, and Job Structures through Shifts in Organizational Attention.”

As regulations concerning AI, data, platforms, and privacy change rapidly, firms face new challenges in responding to institutional change. Over the next three years, this project will systematically examine how these developments affect corporate strategy and organizational operations.

Students interested in joining the research are welcome to contact us. We will continue to share updates as the project progresses.
